More
about the Jagger update.
To
prove the point I was looking for a new PSU for my laptop this week. I took the
part number of my existing unit, typed it into Google. I got some out of date
auctions on Ebay, Amazon and a couple of forums. Needless to say I did the same
search on MSN and I'm pleased to say I now have a power supply for my laptop again.
What
this demonstrated, however, was the fact that many commercial sites had disappeared,
but the likes of Ebay and Amazon had survived. Why? Ebay and Amazon both have
a strong affiliates network. In fact looking at other searches similar results
emphasize the point.
Strong on-line brands have survived,
because they have a large network of incoming links naturally, from multiple IP
addresses.
We are also noticing a significant number of sites that have
returned that have keyword stuffed cloaked content. We don't think that once part
3 of Jagger has been implemented that the current results will survive, so it
would be unwise for anyone to take up keyword stuffing until all the updates are
concluded.
