Search will be my big thing - says Bill Gates.

Bill Gates has announced that he intends to spend his remaining full-time employment with Microsoft® primarily focused on developing online search services.

He will work with the company full-time until mid-2008 and speaking at organisation's eighth annual Strategic Account Summit, Gates said in his remaining months, his efforts will be mainly directed toward "search, buyers and sellers....that will be my biggest thing."

The revelation came during the event in Seattle which was attended by more than 1,000 advertising, publishing, media and technology leaders from 27 countries.

The theme of the summit was called Inspire and reflected Microsoft's commitment to transforming how the Internet connects people to information, entertainment and each other, inspiring them to better understand their world and discover opportunities through technology.

The 1000-strong delegates explored how online advertising will evolve as the digital landscape continues to transform the way advertisers reach their core audience.

The event was hosted by Joanne Bradford, corporate vice president and chief media officer of MSN®, and featured speakers from Microsoft including Mich Mathews from Central Marketing Group, Yusuf Mehdi, chief advertising strategist and Gayle Troberman from global branded entertainment as well as speakers from Yahoo! and GM North America.
